Front and back cover issues in booklet

Hi There

I designed a 12 pages booklet, where the front and back cover was included in the document, but when I printed the booklet with the "Print booklet" option somehow the covers wasn't printed, then I tried to save the file to print it somewhere else, assuming my printer was the problem, I saved it using the "Postscript" option and using Adobe distiller, but it happened the same with the booklet, the front and back cover doesn't appear.

Could someone help me to fix, please?

To confirm Samuel,

The outer front cover is page 1 and the outer back cover is page 12 in your booklet?

You have chosen saddle stitch in the Print Booklet dialog?

Where they created at the same page size?

I did a quick test on my end with these parameters and it worked fine.

Never use the “Postscript option and Distiller”, use the InDesign Acrobat PDF presets, usually PDF/X-4. (Tick Use Document Bleed Settings.)
