Image Trace not showing up in InDesign CS6

Hi there. I'm working in InDesign CS6, and Image Trace is nowhere to be found. I've used it in the past - and used Live Trace before I upgraded. Can anyone tell me why Image Trace would just not be avaialble at all in my version of InDesign?

I'm on a mac, and the version is 8.1.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Image Trace is a tool in Illustrator, not Indesign.

Yikes, I am also running High Sierra. None of the glitches with cursors, etc, that I was just reading about happening to me, just a total lack of Image Trace.

Wow, I have really lost it today. Been doing a lot of book layout and just opened and searched in InDesign by default.

Thank you first for answering nad secondly for being kind about this! I am sure I would have realized my mistake at 2am, but this saves me a bunch of time. Shaking my head at myself.

Again, thanks much.
