Interactive PDF - Main Menu Buttons Stick!

I have created a main menu with 8 buttons.  When I rollover them, they begin to stick in their 'rollover' state - rather than go back to the 'normal' state.

I'm using the most update version of InDesign CC and Acrobat CC for Mac.  I have tried buttons on a Windows machine with the same issues.

NOTE:  The first button on the left has no rollover sate - is supposed to be 'on'.  It's the other buttons that have the problem.

Any help would be very appreciated.  I'm working on a tight deadline for a client and need this resolved ASAP.

You can download my sample PDF from the link below.

THANKS MUCH!

18 MONTHS after the original post, still no solution to be found.

I've been having this same issue, and it doesn't seem to be on Adobe's radar despite the bug reports. I opened my doc in a web browser and the issue did not occur, so it is confirmed the issue is with Adobe Acrobat. Unfortunately using a web browser is a very poor workaround for me since my "Toggle Full Screen" button won't work and my users would need internet to interact with the document.

I've put a lot of time and effort into planning and creating this piece, so it would be great if the rollovers actually worked properly. This is creating obstacles for me and disrupting my users' interactive experience.

While it is not a solution, this workaround may work:

Instead of using rollover appearance, use a combination rollover action of show the effect, and rolloff action of hide the effect.

    Hi all,

I didn't want to start a new thread  but I am experiencing the same issue where my buttons "stick" in the rollover state, here is a link to sample pdf-https://amzn.to/2H1SwXr, it's meant to be viewed in Acrobat DC. I made sure that none of the buttons or elements overlap. The only idea I have at this point is to export all buttons as jpegs in their normal and rollover state but it seems like a clunky solution and I am not sure if it will solve the problem.

Thank you, any help is very appreciated!

It's amazing that month's later - Adobe has still not resolved this problem.  Don't even get me started with the catastrophe thats completely screwed us with Premier.

Have you filed a bug report at the link below? That's where the product managers would see it (not in this forum):

I have been noticing this same issue. It is definitely an Acrobat problem. I have interactive PDFs that used to work fine and now have this same issue. This issue appears on both Mac and Windows.

    Have you reported it?

I can confirm it but without seeing everything it’s pretty hard to diagnose.

I'm sorry.  I didn't think to send the native InDesign files.

If you can download and have a look at it, I would be beyond grateful.

    Thank you.

I have no idea. All I can tell you at this point is that this is one of the many reasons I avoid interactive PDF for all but forms, and even there I think there’s better options.

FWIW, I tried it with an EPUB and it works fine.
