Invisible Toolbar

Hello !

I am testing a 2017 trail version of Indesign.

The toolbar is not visible and i dont find it in the different options i find.

At the beginning my document was invisible too i have to move something in the option to solve the problem.

Very strange trail version

Comme tu utilises une version française d'InDesign, j'en déduis que tu es francophone… Je pense que tu as masqué les palettes en appuyant sur la touche tabulation. Appuie de nouveau dessus, et les outils ainsi que la palette Contour (qui est cochée) devraient réapparaître.

I thought the same thing, but when you press the tab key, Tools becomes unchecked in the Window menu, until you press Tab again. In Jane's screen shot, Fenêtre > Outils is still selected.

Yes, you are absolutely right!


It's very odd. I think I would uninstall/reinstall but it's a trial so not sure how that will go.

Do you have an external monitor hooked up to your laptop? If so, could you unhook it? And see what happens

I dont have any. But i try with my external harddisq. Nothing happen

That's not normal!

Start by resetting the workspace: Window > Workspace > [Essentials], followed by Window > Workspace > Reset Essentials. Did the toolbar return?

You can hide/show it directly via Window > Tools. Make sure there is a checkmark in front of the word "Tools".

It doesn't work. And i did the process you advice. Nothing change
