Issues with font weight when exporting iD file to Acrobat PDF

I have created a book in iD, but when I export the file to PDF the font, that I have used throughout the book, appears bolder on one particular page. It appears just fine on the iD file with all colours, tints, weights as they are on all the remaining pages. It's always the same page, a left hand page of a spread - the right hand page is fine. The text on the page concerned is all in the same font (Dax) and weight (light), although there are two sizes, but both sizes are slightly emboldened in the PDF (something around "regular"). I have re-made the page numerous times creating new text boxes and re-copying the original text from the original MS Word file. The result is always the same.

My guess is there is some embedded code somewhere causing this, but I can't find it. Any suggestions?

I may be mistaken, but I think once you've outlined the font in InDesign and Saved the document, you can't reverse the effect.

Thanks again Derek. I'm not sure how that has happened and I have re-made the page twice to try to remedy this and the same page always exports to PDF with the outline. I guess I'll have to play around with it some more to try to find a fix.

As an update on this issue. I've since enlarged the page concerned considerably and can now see that the apparent increased weight of the font and changes in colour is due to the font app[earing in the PDF version with an outline. As this is small type it wasn't immediately obvious, but it still only appears on this one page.

I understand that you used to be able to add outlines to PDFs for printers althougfh this is rarely required these day, but I can't see how to do so on the current version and even in the instructions I have found for previous editions it doesn't seem to offer the option of doing so for individual pages.

How do I remove this feature on just this one page?

Did you use faux bold for bold in the MSWord document ?

Thanks Derek. There is no formatting in the MS Word document. It's all plain text. I did all the formatting in iD. I just added a couple of screen shots to my original post. You will see what I mean.
