It depends on what version of InDesign you're running. Theoretically, it would open in InDesign CS6 or earlier. (You can download CS6 from a Creative Cloud subscription.)

Hi,

My problem is that I have an old book made in PageMake format I wish to print again. The printshop does not have this old software any longer. Thats why I want to know if the inDesign software can accept the PageMake file. From what year is inDesign C6?

CS6 came out about 2012, I believe but can still be downloaded if you have a CC subscription.

2012 and as already noted is included with Creative Cloud. That said, the likelihood of it opening properly is pretty slim.
