Question re emojis in InDesign

Do the emoji images in InDesign have the same licensing as fonts? Can we use them in commercial applications?

there is no general answer. check the licensing from the site where you are purchasing/downloading your font.

I'm referring to the Apple Color Emoji and EmojiOne "fonts" that seem to "come with" InDesign and Illustrator, NOT fonts that I have purchased or downloaded on my own. Adobe fonts says:

 

Use them anywhere

We’ve already cleared everything here for personal and commercial use.

 

But does that include the emojis?

If it's part of the font and provided via adobe fonts, yes.
