"History" in InDesign?

Is there anything in InDesign comparable to Photoshop's "history?"

I'm working on a 40-page magazine and all of a sudden I have a blank page. I could have sworn there was already something there but I have no idea what it might be.

I don't want to "Undo" until I find a as I might be wrong and it was always blank.

65bit software https://www.65bit.com/ has a utility called MultiDo that is free and can be installed for InDesign. It is similar to the history panel, but tt is not a panel. Instead it appears under the Edit menu.

65Bit also has a history panel for InDesign called EasyHistory, but that is not free.

Another thought: you might have ON in the preferences, the setting for Smart Text Reflow (Preferences > Type > Smart Text Reflow) that causes the document to add on a page and flow overset text onto it. I dislike this feature at late stage layout work, and so turn it off.

You can always go back and forward using Carl/Cmd+Z to Undo back to the last saved state and Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+Z to redo to the current one. That’s about as good as it gets.

Good luck,

Randy
