Red Spiral in text in InDesign

Hi,

I am working on a document that contains other languages apart from English as well. For specific words and languages, I am using particular Font Types via Character Style. However, sometimes while going through the document, if I miss a letter or word of other language, InDesign shows the following sign:

With regard to the same, I would be grateful if Indesign users in this community could help me figure out a way to search for this error through GREP or Preflight Panel?

 

Any kind of guidance would be highly appreciated. Thank you for the time and effort.

    In that case it seems that we are talking about a missing glyph in the font. Check the following link that describes how to use the Preflight panel and Find Glyph option to handle such cases

      The pink highlight means that the font is missing. You can use the Type>Find Font dialog the locate and change the font. Preflight also can check for missing fonts.

      Hi Manan,

      Thank you for the reply. You are absolutely right that if a particular font type is missing, Preflight Panel by defaults creates a red mark in its panel to let us know about it. Else, we can search for missing font error with Find Fonts. However, the problem I am discussing is slightly different. To cite with an example, let's say we take a Hebrew word or letter. If I apply Palatino font on the letter, it shows the above mark, however, if I change the font to Times New Roman, it shows the Hebrew letter. In both cases, Preflight Panel shows "No errors". It is just that I haven't applied the right font type on the letter. 

      Since, the document I am working on is pretty big, and while working I am taking care of almost all the letters with Character Styling, however, just to do a final review to see if I missed a particular letter or word, I am seeking a way to find the same through Grep or Preflight Panel.
