Script for changing individual folio colors

Hi,

I have a designer creating a 400+ page book where each page number is a different CMYK color based on the light spectrum (ROYGBIV). Is there a script out there that will apply a color to each page folio determined by a user's defined page range and beginning and ending of the spectrum? Thus, hypothetically, a user could assign Red (M100Y100) to Yellow (Y100) for pages 1-100 and Yellow to Green (C100Y100) for pages 101-250 and then go from Green to Red from pages 251-400.
Thanks!

Hi Chung_Chiang. I did find your post while looking for a solution to pretty much the same idea you described. I am not sure you ever got a solution to your problem but was curious to know if you did.

I am at a forum called indesignsecrets.com/ where the community is pretty active and your experience would be very welcomed.
