I am working n a bunch of tables.  The bottom row of each table has a cell style called "footer row".  In the Strokes and Fills tab on the Cell Style, the only line checked, or blue, is the bottom row with a weight of .25 and color of black.  However, what is showing is a .25 bottom line and a thciker line on the right side of the cell.  Not even the right side as it isn't on the far right side.  It is the middle columns only.  Help!

Are you asking how to turn off the thicker line on the right side of the cell?

Ok, the trick to lines in InDesign tables is that you have to turn them on to turn them off. (I know!)

Select the footer row. In the table proxy, click to turn the top and bottom lines to gray. Leave the left, center and right blue. Change the line weight to 0 and press Enter.
