So i've been working on a catalogue, and I'm done, but I reopend the document today and these black lines appeared on most of the pages, I've already tried seeing if there's anything "locked" bars but nothing.. I also exported a "sample" pdf to see if maybe they wouldn't transfer.. but they still did. I'm attaching a screenshot of what they look like.
Would love to get this taken care of asap as I'm needing to send this over to my client asap.
Thank you

I've meant if you can upload one page of your file on drop box or similar and we can download it and check it

Which version of InDesign and OS?
Try turning off GPU Performance in InDesign Preferences to see if that helps.

Did you create the file? Wouldn't it be possible that these black shapes are on another layer?

Hi
Are you on the latest InDesign 15.0.2?
Are you using a variable font? If yes, which one?
Is underline on?
We are aware of a bug in which such a thing happens when underline is apploed to characters written in a particular type of variable font
Currently, am not aware of any workaround to this problem
Thanks

Hm…
I think, amaarora meant InDesign version 15.1.2 and not 15.0.2.

And a report at InDesign UserVoice:
Underline with variable font
When the underline of a variable font is activated, the underline takes the whole height of the page. (Indesign 15.1.2)
