Question

UPC-A sans Human Readables

Is there a UPC font that will display UPC-A half narrow without the human readable? I generate my UPC codes from an excel formula spreadsheet that was set up for me many years ago, and pop the codes into text boxes with the UPC font. Now my client wants the UPC-A without the human readable, and the human readable typed separately beneath.

I guess the alternative is to place a text box over the bottom of the UPC to cover the current human readable with the "new" format, but I'd rather not.

Thanks!

So far as fonts go, I noticed this site, but have not tried them myself: UPCA, UPCE, EAN13, EAN8 Barcode Fonts

Couldn't find any on Google fonts or dafont that weren't code 128, or 3 of 9.

How many do you have to do for this task? Is it an entire product catalogue with hundreds/thousands of SKUs, or one product at a time?

My own work uses Barcode Studio for EAN13 or code 128 en masse: Download Barcode Maker Software: Windows, macOS, Linux, Apple, UNIX

If the answer wasn't in my post, perhaps it might be on my blog at colecandoo!

BarcodeMaker by Teacup software is quite affordable and provides an option to not display the human readable portion of a UPC A barcode.
