I can open Lightroom Classic and use the Library module, but as soon as i select a pic (CR2 format) and click on the Develop tab... the app crashes. How do I fix this?

Please provide the information from Help->System Info. We need the info down to and including the Plug-in information. We don't want and don't need and absolutely hate the information after Plug-ins.

Hey, @David_999. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

Are you working with multiple displays?

As primary steps, try this:

  • Unplug additional displays & use only the default.
  • Go to Lightroom > Edit > Preferences > Performance > Use Graphics Processor > Set it to Off if it is on Custom or Auto. If this shows you any differences, please check this article to troubleshoot further: https://adobe.ly/3uYiJo4

Let me know how it goes.

Thanks!

I'm working with a Windows laptop and one monitor. After turning on my laptop, I close the lid so that I am only working with a single large monitor. I did unplugged them monitor and tried Lrc Just using my laptop and it seems to work and does not crash. However this is not super helpful to me because everything is way too small on my laptop and I need the larger monitor. also I did turn off my Autographix processor as you noted, but that did not seem to help either. I appreciate any help you can offer. Thanks again.
