hey, masking subject or background works... but it's the presets that give the error 'masking models...'

Launch the Creative Cloud App, then click on the Apps button. Select Lightroom Classic, then the 3-dots. Click on Other Versions, then choose 14.2. I've attached a screenshot that should help .

What didn't work? You weren't able to roll back to 14.2?  You rolled back but you still get the error?  Or you tried manually downloading the ModelZoo folder and you still get the error?

So now I am experiencing this same/similar error issue with in my LR Classic on my Mac; "Some masking models failed to download. Please try again later".
I have uninstalled the app.
I have restarted my Mac.
I have reinstalled the app but this has not resolved the issue.
This only started to show up in the last few days.

Is there a fix for this? Is there a "Preferences" file that needs to be deleted?

Thank you. Doing the Roll-Back to 14.2 solved the issue for me but now I see that the "Update Available" notice is now showing up which I will ignore for now.

I'm having the same issue and have lost an entire day of work with a tight deadline trying to fix this in all possible ways. I'm now going to revert to the previous version of LR Classic after finally coming across this post. This is truly unacceptable, especially given how much we all pay for the Creative Cloud services.

En Creative Cloud buscas Light Room Classic y en los tres puntos le das a instalar otras versiones. Instalas la versión anterior. Esperare a que se resuelva el problema y actualisare el LR nuevamente.

my lightroom says "some mask models failed to download, please try again later" and one of my presets work anymore. I've redownloaded lightroom, updated camera raw and I dont' know what's going on. If I click on the masks they all work.

Hi! I recently updated LR Classic and havent been able to use my presests or copy/paste settings between photos. I already unistall and istall LR classic, and camera raw is updated to the last version. And the error keeps popping up .

Is Adobe still investigating the issue ?  Have they figured out what the problem is ? If so, when are they fixing this? I am thanksfull for all the workarounds from the community -  but I had rather have a program that works. Adobe Team, if you read this, please give us hope.
