Greetings all, 

 

A new update for Lightroom Classic has been released.  The May 14.3.1 update contains an update for this issue. 

If you do not see the update in your Creative Cloud Application, you can refresh it by hitting [Ctrl/Cmd]+[Alt/Opt]+[ R ].

Note: It may take up to 24 hours for your update to be available in your Creative Cloud app.

Hi there, to  download the ModelZoo folder didn't work for me.
I had to Roll back to LR 14.2.
I'm on mac os 14.7.4

Su LRC esce una finestra rossa con la scritta che non è stato possibile scaricare delle maschere ma non carica solo i preset mentre le maschere come il riconoscimento del soggetto funzionano perfettamente

Two workarounds:

- Roll back to LR 14.2 (known to work for everyone):

Hi everyone

I’m hoping you are able to help me. I have tried to download some presets and now every time I go into the develop mode for the program a message in bright orange pops up and although you are able to close it, it returns almost immediately. The pop up say “ Some Masking models failed to download. Please try again later.

 

I am finding this hugely distracting when trying to work. I have removed the initial downloads but it seems to still keep happening are you able to assist and advise?

Another user with the LrC 14.3 error (MacBook on Sequoia 15.4.1). Rolling back to LrC14.2 now; hope the Lr functionality is ok with this older FW version. Since there are issues with LrC14.3, one should wait to upgrade until version 14.4 is available?

I have the 14.3 version installed. I have checked my system settings and the program has full access, but I am still getting this error.

You need 14.3.1, not 14.3.  Triple-check which version you have installed by doing the LR menu command Help > System Info and looking at the first line. If indeed you have 14.3 and not 14.3.1, then do the menu command Help > Updates to install 14.3.1.

I got this error (some masking models failed to download..) about two weeks ago (with the upgrade I assume). No luck resolving the problem (no matter what). I am unable to copy/paste, sync or use presets. I had to switch to Capture One for my professional work (reluctantly).

so i ended up getting it fixed that link works just follow the steps but using the APP! "creative cloud" i was able to install the older version!

¡Hola! Necesitas seguir estos pasos en el link .  muestra cómo desinstalar el Lightroom de 13.3 y reinstalarlo en la versión anterior, la 14.2 en lugar de la 14.3, ya que esta última tiene problemas. Sigue estos pasos en la aplicación "Creative Cloud" de tu computadora . Una vez que instales la versión anterior, todo debería volver a la normalidad. ¡Espero que funcione!
