Working in the develop module, when I refuse a photo by pressing the X key and want to remove the photo LR crashes. This is in the develop module. In the library module it does works fine. A Bug???
Running LR 2015.8 on macOS Sierra 10.12.2 in French with an AZERTY keyboard.
The "X" shortcut is attributed both to the "rejected" flag and to "toggle extras". The latter takes precedence over the former, i.e. flagging photos as rejected can only be done using Shift-X, which is very annoying (if you forget the Shift key out of habit, you think that you've flagged the photo and it's not the case) + (Shift-X goes to the next photo in the grid which is not necessarily what you want to do).
Adobe, thanks in advance for fixing this or at least provide a workaround (editing a keyboard shortcut configuration file???).

In my LR CC 2015.8 / OS X 10.11.5, the "x" shortcut doesn't reject the photo in Library mode; instead, it is assigned to Affichage > Style du mode Grille > Afficher les extras (View > Grid View Style > Show Extras). The "x" shortcut does reject the photo in Develop mode.
You can work around this problem for French by editing the file "TranslatedStrings_Lr_fr_FR.txt" and changing this line:
See this article for how to edit TranslatedStrings. That article mentions TranslatedStrings.txt (used in earlier versions), but now you'll have to edit TranslatedStrings_Lr_fr_FR.txt.
This is similar to the Swedish "x" bug introduced in the CC 2015.7. It appears that changes to TranslatedStrings are not being tested before release.
There are more bugs related to this change. Some commands that were
previously recognized are now ignored. For example
“$$$/Application/Menu/File/Exit/Key=..." is now ignored. Ctrl+Q seems to
be now hard coded. I have other similar examples :
just to name a few. These commands inserted in TranslatedStrings_Lr_en_US.txt are ignored. Of course the very useful Keyboard Tamer plugin has been broken after the filename changes.
I
did some further testing this morning and actually, the command
"$$$/Application/Menu/File/Exit/Key=..." worked again as expected in TranslatedStrings_Lr_en_US.txt after I temporarily switched to another language.
MACOS 10.10.5 - LR CC 2015.8 X is assigned to "Afficher les extras" ET "rejetée" so "rejetée" does not work I have just spent a few moments with adobe support who explained me that i could change the shortcuts in MACOS in preferences/Keyboards... etc : https://support.apple.com/kb/PH21534?locale=fr_FR&viewlocale=fr_FR but I can't choose LR CC as ab app so ... no solution. Adobe support explains me that it is not a technical bug but just a developer chose: lol. So is it a developer bug??
