P: Star ratings set in Grid view not remembered in Compare view

New bug in V10 of Lightroom Classic. Setting a star rating on a photo in Grid view is not carried into Compare view.

Updates to the Adobe Photography Products were released yesterday and include a fix for this issue. Please install the December update, restart your system and verify you are no longer experiencing the issue. To reproduce the bug:

 

1. In grid view, select two photos that have 0 stars.

 

2. Go to Compare view.

 

3. Observe that Compare view shows 0 stars under the photos.

 

4. Go to grid view.

 

5. Change the two photos to have 4 stars.

 

6. Go to Compare view and observe that it shows 0 stars under the photos.

 

7. Hover the mouse over the stars under both photos and observe they instantly change to 4 stars.
