When I rate a photo in camera, the rating is not being represented in lightroom.

I thought the compatability was there...

Upon further investigation I figured out what was going wrong.

The card you have designated as your primary card in camera, is the card that will store the rating information that is readable by Lightroom.

    All is well, thanks

I'm having the saem issue. It's very frustrating when my clients rate their favorites on my camera with the star rating and when I transfer my images to Lightroom I'm not seeing their ratings. It just started happening recently, so I'm wondering if it's the neew update or catalog? Help Adobe Support

Lightroom reads the raw files but has never read ratings added by the camera.

    Thanks John.

It may only do it for canon cameras, not sure.

Turns out with 2 cards in camera it only writes the rating to the primary card. Thanks again
