Accepted pop up to apply HDR effects to the Library when reinstalled LrC on PC

I have had to reinstall LrC after a PC repair.

All went well until I mistakenly accepted a pop up to apply HDR effects to the Library.  Now every image is oversaturated and looks ghastly.

Is there a way to reverse this or do I need to reinstall LrC and use a backed up copy of the catalog and preferences (and maybe other files)?

Thanks for confirming this. The HDR previews already generated have to be discarded and rebuilt. In the library module, select a collection > Library menu > Previews & Select Build Standard previews and check how it goes.

Thanks!

Hey, @David 101. Welcome to the Lightroom Classic Community. I'll help you figure this out.

You can disable HDR in the Library module by going to Edit > Preferences > Performance > Uncheck 'HDR in LIbrary'.

I hope this helps. Thanks!

@Sameer K

Thank you for that idea, but I have already done this and it made no difference.
