Access to Lightroom Classic 12.x.x

So I'm going to try and make this as short as possible.
I have been using LrC on multiple machines ( Mac and PC ) for a few years now.
Usually I do all my heavy lifting on my Mac Machines ( Mac Studio with M1Max 32gb RAM and Macbook Pro with M1Pro 16gb RAM ). I usually edit about 2000-3000 photos per session ( mostly weddings ).
I always use a Midi Controller to go through my photos and edit them pretty fast. I have my preset applied at import and everything works fine on LrC 12.5.2 ( last of the 12 ).
Whenever I updated to ANY of the 13 versions ( and I've tried them ALL ) - editing and jumping back/forth through my images in Develop module slowed down considerably. There is DEFINITELY more lag jumping to next photos in line and is very annoying. The same goes for both the Mac Studio and Macbook Pro. Everytime there was a new v13 release I updated to it to try it out ( hoping the problem is solved ) but it never did so I always had to go back to the 12.5.2 ( using Other Version in the Creative Cloud app ).
When I saw LrC 14 came out I was really hoping that it would work at least as fast as the 12 but IT DID NOT. I figured, it's fine, I can just go back to 12 as I always do. Only to find out I CAN'T 😮 The last version available is 13.0.
This is VERY VERY DISAPPOINTING.
Thank God I only updated the Macbook to 14... as I had to completely reset it and have all my content from the Mac Studio ( including the LrC 12.5.2 ) cloned to the Macbook just so I can continue to use LrC as usual. I was a real pain....

The bad part now is I can't try any new version down the line as I will completely lose access to 12.
I am not the only one with this issue. Other friends of mine reported the same thing with 12 vs 13 - with 12 being visibly faster in Develop Module - all on M1/M1Pro/M1Max Macbooks - I don't know if any of the newer Macs have this problem.
I don't care about the new AI stuff as long as my whole workflow is laggier.

PLEASE tell me there is an option to keep using the old 12 even if I decide to test out future versions.
I am really desperate.

I'm having the same issue since the first version of LrC 13 was released, but for the newer versions of LrC became literaly unusable since i own just a macbook air m1, i was still lightning fast in version 12 but now takes a painful long time. An edit of a full wedding that used to take me something between 3-4hours to complete now takes something close to 12h...

For v12 you would need to contact Customer Support via a chat and respectfully ask for a v12 download.

Only the current  and the n-1 (previous one) version are available in the CC Desktop App.

Note: Catalogs that have been upgraded (to v13 or 14) are not backwards compatible. You would need to restore a v12 catalog from a backup.

In the chat field (lower right of screen), Typing “Agent” into the chat text field will bypass the initial chatbot.
be patient, it can take quite a while to reach a human
If you are not able to get to the chat window, then disable your ad-blockers, firewall, enable cookies/scripts on your browser. If it still fails then change your browser/machine/network.
If you're contacted via email or private message, it's more likely to be a scammer than an adobe representative. Double check for an employee badge if contacted in the forums and look for an {adobe.com} domain in the email address if you click reply to an email. Any other method of contacting (or offering to contact you) is almost certainly a scam, https://community.adobe.com/t5/using-the-community-discussions/staying-safe-in-the-adobe-support-com...

Before anyone asks, I am using Full Graphics Acceleration on all my setups, all check-boxes are ticked under Performance / Use Graphic Processor.
I am working with Nikon Z6 II RAW Files, but other people with the same issue are using Canon/Sony cameras so it's not a files problem.
I edit about 200.000 photos per year so having LrC work laggier REALLY hurts my productivity.
Is there an option to try out a new version but also keeping the old one?

The specs of my iMac are contained in my signature below. Since I am restricted to macOS Big Sur I am unable to upgrade beyond LrC 12.5.2.

LrC version 13 was released in Oct 2023 and since that time to now there was a significant upgrade to the application  with the introduction in May 2024 of LrC 13.3 the Catalog required upgrade necessary to support a version 2 upgrade to the sync engine.

Fast forward to October 18 2024 and the LrC 14 release.

Syncing LrC to Adobe Creative Cloud and Lr Desktop, Lr Mobile and Web requires LrC 13.3 and later.

Since May 2024 I have been using my PC for syncing.
