Adding GPS metadata to multiple images at the same time

how do I Add GPS metadata to multiple images at the same time. I seem to remember being able to do this by selecting multiple images in Map or Library modes and then adding the info and "entering". Now I seem to no longer be able to do this.

what I want to do is to add GPS info with one group of images selected to a series of images all shot at the same location
