Adjusting orange tones without adjust skin tones?

I want to change the color of some leaves in the Color panel. I select the orange square and adjust the hue and saturation, though this is affecting the skin tones in my subject. How can I adjust the leaves this way without changing the subject's skin tone?

Thanks.

The HSL panel's Targeted Adjustment Tool (TAT) provides more selective adjustment of specific colors.

If skin tones are still being affected after using the TAT try instead using the Adjustment Brush to paint in only the leaf area. Next apply Temp, Tint, Exposure, Saturation ad any other controls needed to achieve the desired rendering. To isolate these adjustments to the orange leaves use the Range Mask 'Color' control eyedropper to sample the leaf color and  change the 'Amount ' slider as required to restrict the adjustment to the leaves.

Is this a Lightroom question? What is the "orange square"?

In Lightroom you can use the adjustment brush to change the color blance on selected areas without changing the colors on the rest of the photo.

Also please do not post the same question twice.

I asked two questions, one a general one and one specifically about working with the Color panel. Definitely not the same question twice.
