Adjustment Brush Trackpad Won't Adjust Area Size

This also is happening with the other tools such as the the radial filter and the spot tool. I assume it would happen with a scroll wheel.

Very abruptly, the tools stopped working with my trackpad. Instead, when I try to change the size of the tools with the trackpad, it changes the view size of the image. The tools appear with a + in the center, I'm not sure if that was the case before it stopped working correctly. I have deleted the preferences and uninstalled and reinstalled Lightroom and the behavior is the same.

This is not a system-wide problem, the trackpad has the proper action in all other applications.

2 Fingers on track pad, Move up or down to change the size, Hold down the Shift key and same action to increase or decrease the Feather size.

At least that is how it works on my iMac with magic track pad.
