You should not delete all the files in C:\Users\Admin\Pictures\Lightroom. You should only delete the folder called 'catalogname previews.lrdata'. It is still possible that Lightroom uses another catalog however, stored somewhere else. That would explain why deleting these files doesn't solve te problem.

Please read my last reply. I'm pretty sure that you are deleting the wrong files. If you delete ALL the files in the catalog folder (except the backups), then you make a big mistake because you also delete the catalog file. Next time you start Lightroom you will see a message that Lightroom cannot find the catalog, asking you to locate it or to create a new one. If you do not see that message but continue to see the error about the previews cache then that suggestes that Lightroom is using another catalog located somewhere else. Maybe you are using a backup catalog without knowing it. Can you open the Backups folder and show what is inside?

Are you sure that you have deleted the previews.lrdata and not the smart previews.lrdata? And are you sure that this isn't another catalog?

Could you please explain in a bit more detail what happens and what you have done to try to solve it? Usually when you get the 'could not read the previews cache' error, Lightroom will not start at all so you don't see what's in the catalog either.
