After installing PS Beta, Lightroom will no longer open images to Photoshop 23

Hello,
Today I downloaded Photoshop Beta for a quick look, but later when trying to open an image from Lightroom (12.3)  in Photoshop 23 (24.5) it would only open in PS Beta.  I uninstalled PS Beta but now when choosing 'edit in' there are no options and in preferences / external editing there are no options under photoshop versions.  (Screenshots attached)

I should note that before uninstalling PS Beta the external editor in LR was still showing as PS 23 while it was opening in Beta.
