After opening, the Lightroom program freezes and stops responding within 2-3 minutes.

My graphics card is a Radeon 6500 XT(4gb) and I have 16 GB of RAM. After opening the Lightroom Classic program and viewing a few photos, sometimes the screen shows random colors, and other times there are no signs, but Lightroom freezes. I have to close it using Task Manager. This has been happening for about 2-3 weeks, and I can't get any work done. I'm forced to edit my photos one by one using Camera Raw in Photoshop. Please help! This is very frustrating!

So an AMD GPU. With a fairlt new driver? Apparently AMD fouled up big time, and an Adrenalin setting for performance sets the GPU to treat LrC as a game. Look for the AMD settings, performance settings, and undo that.
