All options in PS greyed out when editing from lightroom

There seems to be a bug that has just cropped up very recently.

When im in Lightroom and I choose "Edit with Photoshop" everything goes fine, up pops my image in Photoshop as expected... However, almost every option in Photoshop is greyed out. I cant do pretty much anything.

Now, If I save this image and go into Lightroom I can see it there. If I then edit this image then everything works as expected. So it is only the first instance of the image that is affected by the bug. Im assuming that this first instance is a temp file somewhere - possibly having some sort of access issue?

I generally edit a few images from LR in PS just to add a few overlays etc - but this is becoming a chore I have to effectively edit the image twice.

Anyone know why this is happening?

Cheers

Dave

    David, be nice,...

    Ok, Known issue, two workarounds

    1. launch PS before having LR send it an image

    2) Alternate, in PS preferences, select "Disable the Home Screen: (I have not tried that one

A possible third one, not yet tested, not yet explored, today's LR update, did it fix this? not listed on page describing issues resolved. (nope, not fixed in update, never mind)

Well, today Adobe has updated PS, looks like it fixes the LR to PS issue

Fixed issues in Adobe Photoshop CC
