ALL previews disappeared from Lightroom\

Windows 10:  ALL previews disappeared from Lightroom CC. All the folders are still there and are showing the correct number of previews that should be stored in each folder.  When I click on a folder I get message "No photos in selected folder." I did uninstall Lightroom CC and reinstalled but same situation remains.  Photos are still on hard drive and have not been moved.  Tried to reimport and a couple folder but can not do so because it thinks photos and been imported and ar still there.  How can I get previews to be visible or to be imported again?

Sounds like you are using Lightroom Classic. If so, make sure you update to the latest version (11.1) because I believe there was a bug that can cause what you describe. Another possibility is catalog corruption, so I hope you have a catalog backup.

Please be more specific about the App you are actually using.

"CC" is no longer a part of Adobe App names.

"Lightroom" is now the Cloud version that takes your files and syncs them up to Cloud storage.

"Lightroom-CLASSIC" is the local version that references your files stored in your system.

Post some screen-clips of what you see- Full-screen of your folder & grid view. The info report from MENU: Help > System Info...

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .

The photos are likely still in your Lightroom Classic, but not in the folder you think they are in.

You need to find these photos in Lightroom Classic. Follow all of these four steps in order:

1. In the Lightroom Classic Library Module, on the left, under Catalog, click on All Photographs
2. Turn off all filters (Ctrl-L once or twice)
3. Turn off all stacking (Photo->Stacking->Expand All Stacks)
4. Search for at least one of these photos by file name using the Lightroom Classic Filter Bar
