...and again download error 126

I am running LR 6.7 on a 5k Imac with the latest High Sierra MacOS (10.13.6) and I tried to update LR to 6.14.
I was following the advice to try again after getting this error code, but after 20 attempts and getting the 126 error code over and over again I was wandering whether there is a better advice available.

Perfect question, I was using the the Creative Cloud MAcOS app version 5.1.0.407, how can find out the download URL in the app?

Yes, I know but the advice to retry the download gets me nowhere, as I said I tried it 20 times already...
