Question

Any Intel ARC B570 or B580 users? Input for LRC performance is needed.

Hi all,

I have ARC A-series GPU at the moment and it is mostly okay for what I need. Stable and fast enough for my every day stuff. Only gripe is that if using AI based denoise in Lightroom - it's slow as hell.  I don't need this feature much, but would be nice to have, if needed. Topaz and other 3rd party tools seem to be okay.

As I understand, it is a bug with Intel drivers after fixing another one a year or so ago. Intel does not have any updates yet, when it will be fixed, it is listed only as known issue.

It seems that all complaints are for A series GPUs. So I wonder if someone has newer B series GPU and could try, how much time denoise would take with it. I am thinking about replacing the GPU, but getting RTX4060 or similar entry level Nvidia GPU is way more expensive here, than getting next generation ARC. And I am quite budget restricted at the moment, so would prefer best bang for the buck solution if possible.

I don't know about these GPUs, but "budget restricted" and fast performance in AI DeNoise are not words that go together. I have an NVidia GTX 3060 and it takes 10-15 seconds to denoise a 24GB raw original.

Up to one minute is acceptable for me - no problem with that. My laptop with RTX 3050 takes around 30 seconds for 50MP RAW and it is okay for me.

The problem with the GPU I have now - it takes around 10-15 minutes. I could find RTX3050 around 200 Euros, but it has 3 different display outputs, of which one is DVI and as I have 3 4K monitors connected via HDMI at the moment, it wouldn't work out. It seems the cheapest Nvidia card that supports that kind of configuration, is around 350-400 Euros or so.
B570 that would have almost same performance could be obtained around 250 Euros locally.

An HDMI to DVI adaptor should be under 10 euros. I use them with several displays.
