Aperture import stays at 0%

I'm running Lightroom Classic 8.4.1 on Mac OS X Catalina 10.15.1 and the Aperture import plug-in doesn't seem to work as it always stays at 0% even after a day. Can you please help provide a fix for this? I have tons of content still in Aperture that I need to migrate to Lightroom Classic. Thanks!

On your  MAC, bring up MAC System Preferences. Select Security and Privacy. Select the Privacy tab. Look at Files and Folders. Make sure LRS, PS  can access everything

Thanks David. I verified that Lightroom Classic does have access to files and folder under the Privacy settings. Also the link you sent above just says that I need to use the LR CC's built-in plug-in to migrate the photos which is exactly what I'm using when encountering this problem. Any other suggestions? Thanks!
