Arrow Key Won't Advance Image in Develop Module

I just started having this issue mid-edit. Lightroom operated normally for the first 10-20 images I edited and now all of a sudden the right arrow key won't switch to the next image if I make any edits to the current image using the side-panel.

I've tried resetting Lightroom and it doesn't help.

Please help! This is really frustrating.

What edits? For some tools (like the Crop Tool) you first have to apply the tool (hit the Enter key) before you can move to the next image.

Control-arrow key will advance to the next image in all situations. Arrow key alone advances to the next image in some situations but not in others.

It appears to be that not having Lightroom fully maximized might have been the issue - instead 99% of the screen maybe?

control+arrow key wasn't helping

I didn't have more than one image selected

and it wasn't advancing after cropping and hitting enter but if I hit the crop tool again and hit enter, it would work.

I was having issues after making adjustments in the basic panel but the crop tool was also used.

After doing the first crop and hitting enter and finding that it didn't work, hitting enter a few more times would sometimes make a folder in my taskbar open which leads me to believe that Lightroom was losing focus after the crop because it wasn't fully maximized.
