Question

Auto-Level in Lightroom - Is It Possible? (RNI Presets)

Hi Team.  I am testing out RNI presets and they make these suggestions:

"In order to achieve the most genuine film look, we would recommend to treat the output of All Film 5 as if it was the output of your film scanner. And apply all the correction steps you would normally apply to a film scan.

"To start with, try exporting your image, processed with RNI All Films 5, to Photoshop and apply Auto Levels (Cmd + L) or Auto Color (Cmd + Shift + B).

"This will give you an initial idea of the correction stage most of film photos undergo in print or after being digitised."

My Question:  Is there a way to Auto-Level in Lightroom Classic instead of Photoshop?  I'm trying to minimalize my workflow.

Please, if you would, I don't wish to get into debates about presets or "just use film" (I do use film), this is something fun that I enjoy with my digital photos : )

Thanks for your help!

You could start with the (AUTO) button in the Develop Basic Panel-

Before (AUTO):

After (AUTO)

Or you could hold down the [SHIFT] key and [Double left click] on a slider NAME to (Auto) set the slider individually.  (Example [SHIFT+2xleft click] on the Highlights slider name.)-

Regards. My System: Windows-11, Lightroom-Classic 15.1.1, Photoshop 27.3.1, ACR 18.1.1, Lightroom 9.0, Lr-iOS 10.4.0, Bridge 16.0.2 .
