Redirecting an ealier, related discussion that ended up on the above topic. That said, I'm finally looking at cloud storage options to supplement my current laptop HD plus two external SSDs (the often recommended 3-2-1 solution). I've been reading multiple online reviews, and Backblaze, Carbonite, and iCloud seem to keep bubbling up to the top. I've also searched this forum, but much of the discussion on this topic seems somewhat dated. I know this is like asking what's the best car out there, so I'll preface that I just need a solid, trusted, basic cloud backup service for my photos (about 2TBs of space) that keeps everything updated in the background. I'm running LrC on a W11 machine (and drive a Honda) if that makes a difference.

Correction, I meant iDrive, not iCloud.

I'm very satisfied with Backblaze -- I've got it on five family computers (Macs). It was very easy to set up and configure, and I've done several restores of large folders without issue.

Never had a problem with Carbonite. It operates pretty much by itself in the background, I don't have to do anything after the initial setup.

BackBlaze is an excellent choice, I have been using it for many years now and I recommend it wholeheartedly.
Just a few quirks to know:
1. BackBlaze detects files to upload more efficentiely after a restart of the system.
It does so becase after a restart most likely all apps have released contol of the files.
2. BackBlaze might delay backing-up files up until midnight when it does a thorough/total scan.
I have been extremely satisfied with Backblaze.
I considered other options but none were as easy to use.
Also their support is very efficient.
