Batch processing pics in automatic mode

I have the following problem:

I want to have all chosen pictures to be automatically processed (Button "autom." in the base functions in german, I hope its the same in english). I activate the autom. sync. function and press the "autom." button. Lightroom then processes all pictures, but when I click through the images they are just processed "randomly".. they are too dark or too bright and the "autom." button is still active though usually when you click it it gets deactivated. When I click it then the picture gets processed correctly.

Am I doing something wrong or is there another way to batch process automatically?

Thanks a lot, Jan

    Correct answer effeegee

If you use auto in the quick develop menu in the library module the results are relative. Relative to each picture. This is not the case in the develop module.

Interesting! Tahnks for your reply, I will check that later on. Do you know what Lightroom is doing in the develop module?

You mention the word sync above.

Are you using the Sync . . . button in the Develop or Library Module?

In either of those Modules is the Sync button set to Auto Sync or just Sync . . .

It's set to Auto Sync, then I choose all pics that I want to be processed and press that Auto button next to "Tone" in the Develop Module. Basically I don't understand what Lightroom is doing then.. All pics are processed afterwards but it's not the same as hitting the Auto button on the actual photo..
