Brightness changes between Library and Develop modules

When I am working on night photos and edit the photo in the Develop Module, it looks considerably brighter in the Library and the Print Modules. It also prints darker than it looks in the develop module, but similar to what it looks like in the print module. I am fully updated with color Munki and only have this issue with very dark photos, and particularly, stars.

This is almost always due to applying excessive Sharpening or insufficient Luminance Noise Reduction. Try adjusting the Detail panel controls at 1:1 view to reduce any visible noise. Once adjusted properly you should see very little difference between the Develop and Library modules at any view size  (Fit, Fill, etc.).

Always compare at 1:1 view, which maps one image pixel to one screen pixel - iow no screen resampling. Are they different at 1:1?

Stars = noise. Screen resampling algorithms are different in Library and Develop. Resampling softens noise, to varying effect.
