Brush tool Cursor disappears with Wacom tablet

I'm using a new Asus Laptop with Nvidia  GTX 1050 and plenty of ram and I just added Lightroom 6 Classic and a Wacom uPTH451 Pro tablet.  I installed the latest drivers from Wacom's site. The problem I'm having is when using the pen to make brush strokes the cursor will appear for a second then disappear.  As soon as I lift the stylus off the tablet it reappears.  I've tried restarting but it didn't help.  The pen works fine for everything but the brushes. Any help would be appreciated.

    Hi K9harvey,

    I was having the same issue with Photoshop 2019 cc.

    If you have windows 10 the issue is possibly caused by a setting in windows ink.

    to fix it go to -> Settings -> Devices -> Pen & Windows Ink. Make sure the "Show Cursor" option is ticked.

    It should work now.

      I have this problem too; the ONLY tool I get with the pen now is the white pointer tool or the move tool, none of the other tools work (unless I use my mouse instead). Photoshop 20.0.5

      Having the same problem with PS CC 2019 and wacom V6.3.28 AND  the finger pad, on my  2013 Apple Powerbook Pro.

      In painting layer mask  he cursor appears inside mask (faintly) but becomes either even more lightly visible, or invisible, outside mask.

      This was a problem in earlier versions of CC as well, one of the reasons I abandoned CC for CS6 and may do so again..

      The cursor will also loose it's precise tool shape, reverting to an arrow. No rhyme or reason I can see. Restarting the program resets.

      Both Photoshop and Illustrator as disappointing in Main Tool function. They seem to be getting worse not better.

      PS selection distortion tool is wonky and sometimes the selection cursor doesn't grab the selection corner tabs at all. Restart is necessary.

      Good news! Pop up tutorials on all the cool stuff you could do if the tools worked!

      We're really sorry for all the hassle. Could you please let us know the exact version of Lightroom you are using now?

      As you have mentioned,

      Lightroom 6 Classic

      So either you have Lightroom 6 Or Lightroom Classic CC installed on your machine.

      Since, when you are facing this issue?

      I think I have Lightroom classic CC. I have the version that costs $9.99 a month and comes with photoshop CC

      Thanks for the update. Could you please check the exact version of Lightroom Classic CC installed on your machine? It should be updated to 7.4 version.
