Can I save my work if Lightroom stops responding

Hi, so I was working in Lightroom and it stopped responding and has the colour spinning wheel (for hours now). I'm wondering if there is any way to save the edits I have done on the album? Or do I have to force quit LR and loose all the edits made 

 

any help would be amazing

Force quitting will not make you lose your edits, unless it damages the catalog beyond repair which is fortunately rare. Every edit is written to the catalog immediately, so you'll probably only lose the edits on the last image.
