can't find detail panel in Lightroom Classic (in order to edit mp4 file)

Online it says YES, LR classic can edit video.   But go to Detail Panel.   I look at videos and their image of Lightroom includes a list with "Detail" in it.

And it's taken me at least 15 min to find a "community" to post in.   I'm sure this is not the right one.

Lightroom Classic can only make basic edits to videos in the Quick Develop panel of the Library module. You cannot edit videos while in the Develop module (that's where the Detail panel is, so you can't use that).

I'm so confused.  I'm working in Lightroom Classic, and I have selected the video I want to trim.  I don't have a "detailed" view option.  I only have "loupe" view, which is what I use when editing photos.  I go to the Quick Develop toolbar on the right of the screen, but there is no option for trimming a video.  Can someone please help me?

I think I might have just figured it out.  So, we can only edit videos in Lightroom, and not Lightroom Classic?

in the future, to find the best place to post your message, use the list here, https://community.adobe.com/

p.s. i don't think the adobe website, and forums in particular, are easy to navigate, so don't spend a lot of time searching that forum list. do your best and we'll move the post (like this one has already been moved) if it helps you get responses.
