Can't Import LRC11.1 macOS Monterey on Apple M1

Question

I am trying to import from a subfolder on a SD card to lightroom on my MacBook Pro.  I set up the imort, but the import button is not activated. See Screenshot.

You have not selected any photos.

Also, is that the compact expanded view of import? Perhaps you selected the Minimal Import option (that triangle, bottom left in import screen). Would reccomend not using that.
