Can't Load a .dcp profile in Lightroom Classic

I created a .dcp profile for my Hasselblad X2D. It is located in User/Application Support/Adobe/Camera Raw/Camera Profiles. It is also located in the folder Lightroom Settings/Develop Presets/User Presets.

However it does not show up when I have a file from the camera. There are no camera matching presets other than Adobe Standard. If I try to import it the import fails with the message Can't Import all presents already imported.

What is going on? Any thoughts or advice? This was created from a ColorChecker Passport and the Adobe app.

First, delete that copy in Presets. It does not belong there and so it may do more harm than good. A .dcp profile will not show in the Camera Matching profiles set, but in a separate set that is simply called 'Profiles'. If you do not see that set, then it may be hidden. Unhide it by right-clicking on any Profile set (not an individual profile) and select Manage Profiles.

Thanks but I am not clear. Where should the .dcp profile reside. At the moment it appears along with other functioning profiles in the Lightroom Settings folder. I have right clicked on a profile set and get two options - Reset Hidden Profiles which does nothing or Manage Profiles which just brings up a box with a list of profiles.

It occurs to me that I may have got myself into a bit of a mess since I abandoned using the internal HD as my boot up disk since it was ailing and now boot up from an external SSD. The same profiles are also located on the HD Library under Application Support/Camera Profiles. Perhaps the best thing would be to delete all of the .dcp profiles from both the internal HD and the boot SSD, restart the computer and then LR and try again. But then where do should I put the copy of the .dcp in order to get it to work?

I appreciate your help greatly but forgive my lack of knowledge about the inner workings of LR.

It should be in Macintosh HD/Users/YourUserName/Library/Application Support/Adobe/Camera Raw/Camera Profiles, where you (more or less) said you placed it. Make sure it is in this Library folder (so the Library folder inside your Home folder), not in the root Library folder directly on Macintosh HD. Maybe that was the mistake (you called it "User/Application Support/Adobe/Camera Raw/Camera Profiles", but that path does not exist).
