Question

Can't start Lightroom Classic with M1 native version, only Rosetta emulated

After upgrade MAC OS to Ventura version, Lightroom classic always starts with the  Rosetta emulated version. I have tried unninstalling, installing different versions (12.0, 11.1. 11.4, etc) and always the same problem.

Also I have tried opening Lightroom Classic from the Creative Cloud app, with the button that says M1 version.

Now the software is too slow, I can't work correctly. Can you help me, please?

I have the iMac M1 with 8 GB RAM. I have more than 250 GB free on the hard disk.

Thank you!

Open your Applications folder and then the Lightroom Classic folder. Select the Lightroom Classic application (do not start it) and choose 'Info' from the Finder menu. In the information window you will get, there is a checkbox to open the app in Rosetta. Is that box checked perhaps?

Hello! Thank you for the help.

I can't see any checkbox about Rosetta.

You have selected the Lightroom Classic folder. Open that folder and select the application.
