Can't upgrade to Lightroom Classic 12 on macos Monterey (12.6)?

I'm new here, so take it easy on me if I might not get everything right in the first place. My problem is the following: I installed LR Classic on my MacBook running on Monterey 12.6, but LRC is only version 11.5 and it says it's the latest version, so no updates available. How do I upgrade on LRC 12?

Try checking for upgrades in the Creative Cloud app, not in Lightroom Classic itself.

Thanks for your support. I did that already and the respective apps (LR & LRC) are up to date (which technically they aren't)

Try rebooting the Mac, then examine Adobe Creative Cloud again. That might fix the issue.

Uninstall Lightroom Classic, reboot your computer, and then reinstall it again. That should install the latest version with a little bit of luck.

In the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App, further to the left, in the left side column, click on Updates. See if you are presented with better info in the Updates screen as opposed to the Installed screen.

In the past, I've had to uninstall the Creative Cloud app and reinstall it to get it to see new updates. If none of the other suggestions work try this.

If all goes wrong there's a nuclear option, the Creative Cloud Cleaner tool.
