Cancel automatic lens corrections on import

Hello,

I import all my photos into Adobe Lightroom Classic and, previously, I let Lightroom apply lens corrections automatically on import. I have changed this now (with an import preset) as I prefer to let PureRaw do this. When I send them to PureRaw for denoising and lens corrections, when they come back into Lightroom, I find that the checkboxes for “Enable Profile Corrections” and “Remove Chromatic Aberrations” are ticked. I cannot see anywhere in LR Classic preferences where I can tell it not to do this, can anyone advise me please?

Thanks, Stuart

Rather than use your preset during import, you can use it as a camera model default. The procedure is described in this linked Adobe Help document.

Thanks. It took me a moment to work out how to overide global settings for specific camera, then create a preset that simply has no lens corrections and create a new default for the specific camera and it works a treat. So no need to choose a preset on import (I have two different cameras) and no lens corrections when the image returns from DXO PureRaw.

Excellent news. Glad you got it working the way you want.
