Hi @judy958!
Have you had a chance to log in to Lightroom Web to check if there are any sync errors showing up there? That’s often a helpful first step. Here’s a guide that walks you through how to do it: https://adobe.ly/4kG5g8N
Let me know how it goes — happy to help further if needed!
Thanks so much!

@alek yes I checked the web version and no errors show there. I have found 10 of the photos have finally downloaded. Still waiting on one and still waiting on the edits that were made on my mobile device. Everything shows up on mobile, desktop and web. Only classic has trouble. My internet connection is fine and any changes I make in classic or on smart previews in the web are synced with no issue.

Hi @judy958!
When you have a moment, could you try going to File > Optimize Catalog in Lightroom Classic and see if that helps with the issue?
If that doesn’t do the trick, try selecting all the images that still aren’t showing the edits, right-click on them, then go to Develop Settings > Reset. You can also try Develop Settings > Update to Current Process Version.
Let me know if that helps get your edits to show up!
Thanks so much,
Alek

None of these worked.
Should i just try to create a new catalog?
I have also updated my Adobe software today. That did not help either.

Hi @judy958! Thanks for giving those suggestions a try — sorry to hear they didn’t do the trick.
Just to narrow things down a bit more, could you try syncing with a brand new catalog and see if that works?
Appreciate your patience!

I created a brand new catalog without importing any photos.
Turned on the sync and it did ring in the photos.
However, it also synced in smaet previews of the original photos.
Also, I have now discovered that i have a LOT of folders that have been created with lightroom and the synced photos are in varoius folders. I have a big mess and i am not sure how to grt these cleaned up. I do blame myself for this but is there any way to get everything together in one folder? I keep all my photos on an external drive but these are on my hard drive I think. I think i will wait until all my pictures are in the same place before i try to import anythinf from my hard drive. Not sure if the screen below helps .

Hi @judy958! 👋
Ah, you’re referring to the iPad and iPhone imported folders, right? You can simply drag and drop those folders to your preferred location directly within Lightroom Classic.
If you’d like to locate the exact folder on your computer, just right-click the folder in Lightroom Classic and choose “Go to Folder in Library.” That will open the folder’s location on your system. From there, you can move the images to any other folder you like.
Just a heads-up: if you move the folder outside of Lightroom, it’ll appear grayed out in the Folders panel with a question mark icon. But no worries—you can easily relink everything by right-clicking the folder and selecting “Find Missing Folder.”
Hope that helps! Let me know if you have any questions.
Alek
