Catalog not up to date after update

Not sure what happened but after the latest update, I noticed some issues with my catalog. At first it was just missing folders that I had previously renamed.  Easy fix....but then I noticed that my most recent updates were not in the catalog. For some reason it looks like there's an extra catalog version in my pictures folder - not sure where it came from but if I look at my back-up in Time Machine, it's not there.

The older catalog is still there, but doesn't load any of my folders or photos. Not sure what to do.  I tried restoring the old catalog in Time Machine, but its not any different.
