Je suis à la recherche d'une explication. Comment exporter mon catalogue Lightroom sur un disque externe.

Additional thoughts:

Why would you do that? It's best practice (and most save) to always have the catalog on a local and fast drive, and routing backups only to an external or a network drive.

The photos can reside wherever you like them to have, this is only about the catalog.

Thanks but I'm thinking of leaving my catalog on my c drive and putting the photos on the external drive.

sometimes people use the word "Catalog" to refer to their collection of photos. Other times people use the word "Catalog" to indicate the LrC catalog file. Which do you mean here?

If you mean the LrC catalog file (and not the photos), you can move it using your operating system, rather than export it. As stated above by @F. McLion its usually not a good idea, unless you have good reasons (like sharing the catalog file between two computers)
