Catalogue Import Change Organization

My field computer has a Lightroom catelogue that is not organized by date, I would like to import the images I have worked on on this computer but would like during the import to have the organization of the images to be put into files may day of the month. What is the simplest way to do this.

    If I use this process it seems to remove the processing information and the stars.

    Are you using two computers in the workflow?  Please provide detailed steps of how you are using them.

    I was in the field with the laptop which has a catalogue organized by camera and file name. I would like to move the editing, staring and other changes to my studio computer which is organized by day/month/year in a mater catalogue.

    In the Import window, select Move or Copy. Then in the Destination panel on the right, use these settings:

    Change Date Format and the top-level destination folder according to your preferences.
