I'm a wedding photographer, I use a seperate catalogue for each wedding and store the catalogues on an external SSD, whilst the RAWs are on my TB3 NAS enclosure connnected to two machines. Currently if I'm exporting and that LR is obvioulsy busy i just copy another catalogue to a second SSD drive and plug that in to my second machine to keep working (as both have access to the RAWs via the NAS), but it can get complicated with catalogue versions - so if possible I'd love to have them all stored on one drive and have access from both machines at the same time (not working in the same catalogue at the same time)
LRC will not let me store the catalogues on the NAS.
Any ideas?
Working on LRC 14.0.1 and MBP 14in M1max + iMac 27 in (intel)

Lightroom Classic needs to have its catalog on a local drive, so the way you currently work seems to be the only way and the best way.
